Please be informed that the Horizon online catalogue was closed on 15 September 2025 and is now available for viewing only.

We encourage you to use the new Koha online catalogue, which allows you to browse the collections and check the availability of library materials.

The catalogue covers all books acquired since 1998, academic textbooks, and publications of the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Other items are being catalogued on an ongoing basis. It contains nearly 2,700 journal titles. Atlases and selected loose maps are also catalogued. The catalogue is additionally accessible through the national NUKAT and KaRo catalogues. We apply character encoding for texts written in Cyrillic and Greek—analogous to that used in the NUKAT catalogue.

Digitized Catalogues
Their content and layout correspond to the traditional card catalogues of the Library. They were created by converting the original cards into image format. They remain necessary for searching older literature not included in the online catalogue. They are equipped with an ordering option.
